Update:

as seen on Eye Witness news tonight

Eye witness news 4 has just left The Rock Christian Fellowship and have spoken to both Pastor Mike Naranjo and Pastor D. Arellano about the complaint. The story is up on print as made available by the the Associated Press.

I’m sure that it will be in the news at the top of the hour or in the morning right before the John McCain rally coming to Albuquerque on Saturday, Oct 25, were Pastor Mike was supposed to do the invocation.

You can read and comment here.

One of my sons, Uriah has opted to be Senator John McCain for Holloween. But what look should he go with?

You can help him decide.

On another note: As I was trying on different ties, I got a call that the media (Eye Witness New 4) was outside and was taking video shots of the voter guide we have place on our building. So, since we couldn’t reach Pastor Mike for a good while, I was the first one on the scene and took a couple of shots at answering Gadi Schwartz questions. It is yet to be seen. Watch your local news for the story.

This week the grocery store next our church (Lowe’s Super Save)  gave us about 3 dozen bouquets of assorted fresh flowers. So, some of our students decided we would make as many as we could and hand deliver them to the Nursery Home for the elderly behind our church. Not all the residents were able to be photographed.

Pastor of The Rock Christian Fellowship Invited to McCain Rally on Saturday-this is no joke

Filed Under (John McCain, NM, The Rock Christian Fellowship, albuquerque, elections) by Daniel Arellano on 23-10-2008

Pastor Mike Naranjo (my father in-law and pastor) of The Rock Christian Fellowship in Espanola, NM has just received a phone call from the McCain Campaign headquarters and invited him to lead the invocation at the McCain rally in Albuquerque, NM to take place on this Saturday, October  25.

I’m sure this will add some fuel to the local politicos, and liberal media who recently have come against his stance on pro-life agenda.

We often here many people say, “integrity is who you are when you are alone.” That is exactly right on, and this coming November 4, 2008 (election day) you will be alone in the voting booth when you cast your ballot. So, the question many have struggled with, does the bible instruct believers how we should vote?

Psalm 15 clearly instructs men of integrity how to vote…and Dr. Farrar does not pull any punches when it comes to the issue of how believers must vote with integrity.

Dr. Steve Farrar, a mentor of mine from afar for well over 10 years, my fave author and speaker. His many books, tapes & CD’s make up a big portion of my library. (Please see his books at Daniel Arellano.com) I was recently given a copy of this dvd, and I cut a clip because it is so relevant to the times we are living in. I hope that you will re-post it or share it with others.

Please watch the whole video…

The Santa Fe New Mexican Headlines Today: “Politics in the pulpit: How far is too far?”

Some religious leaders push the law against partisan activity

Anne Constable | The New Mexican

A minister who endorses a candidate or political party from the pulpit risks losing the church’s tax-exempt status. That’s the law. But often in New Mexico, and elsewhere, it isn’t always carefully observed.

This year, the nonprofit Rock Christian Fellowship in Española is directly challenging the ban on political campaign activity by posting a gruesome photo of the head of an aborted fetus on the outside of its building. Below the picture are the names of three Democratic candidates: (Barack) Obama, (Senate candidate Tom) Udall and (candidate for Congress, Ben Ray) Luján.

Stop the Obama Constitutional Crisis Sign the Petition : 15,881 Letters and Emails Sent So Far

Stop the Obama Constitutional CrisisConcerned American Voter LogoA lawsuit has been filed with the Pennsylvania Eastern District Court requiring Mr. Obama to produce documents to prove he is constitutionally qualified to run for President. So far Mr. Obama has refused to produce the documents and is trying to fight the court order to produce the documents. Any American should be able to prove citizenship in less than a day. Why can’t Mr. Obama?

Here is a link to the actual court documents - http://news.justia.com/cases/featured/Pennsylvania/paedce/2:2008cv04083/281573/
A constitutional crisis will rip our country apart. If this is not cleared up now we will have a crisis. If you care at all about America you must call for Mr. Obama to produce the documents and prove that he is eligible to be President.

Please call on Mr. Obama to produce the documents to prove his constitutional qualifications.

Thank you

I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you.

Filed Under (Israel) by Daniel Arellano on 15-10-2008

Since our foundation America (A Christian Nation) has been a close friend and long supporter of Israel, under Baraks leadership this could all change- what does that mean for America? Maybe we are seeing a just glimpse of the crisis we will be in, when Israel’s interest are no longer first.

What does the Bible say:

Genesis 12:1-3
1 The LORD had said to Abram, “Leave your country, your people and your father’s household and go to the land I will show you. 2 “I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. 3 I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.”

PREPARE for a new America: That’s the message that the Rev. Jesse Jackson conveyed to participants in the first World Policy Forum, held at this French lakeside resort last week.

He promised “fundamental changes” in US foreign policy - saying America must “heal wounds” it has caused to other nations, revive its alliances and apologize for the “arrogance of the Bush administration.”

The most important change would occur in the Middle East, where “decades of putting Israel’s interests first” would end.

Jackson believes that, although “Zionists who have controlled American policy for decades” remain strong, they’ll lose a great deal of their clout when Barack Obama enters the White House.

“Barack is determined to repair our relations with the world of Islam and Muslims,” Jackson says. “Thanks to his background and ecumenical approach, he knows how Muslims feel while remaining committed to his own faith.” Read the article here in the NY Post

I’m not sure what his faith really is? Are you, we should be concerned. I am very concerned, that a Barak adminstration will sit with those who want to “wipe Israel off the map.”

Captain Frank Gamboa and the Victory 2008 tour bus visited Espanola, NM and met with community leaders to introduce us to the John McCain he served with in the Navy.

Captain John Frank Gamboa (USN, retired) was born in Cartago, California, on August 12, 1933. Gamboa is the first Mexican-American in the history of the U.S. Navy to command a ship in the rank of Commander, the first to command a ship in the rank of Captain, the first to command a squadron of ships, and the first to command a U.S. Naval Communications Station.

In response to Senator Obama’s claim that this war is costing us too much-$10 Million per month, shared an insightful quote with us from the former president JFK, and his observation of the cost of this war.

“Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, in order to assure the survival and the success of liberty.”  JFK Inaugural Address Friday, January 20, 1961

He dug the knife in deeper when he inserted his own thoughts on Senator Obama position.
