The kind of mother every child needs
Exodus 20: 12″ Honor your father and mother, that your day may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you.”
Our Mothers is the biggest blessing every child has from God. Mothers are essential in the life of children for nourishment and the guidance necessary to to be all that they are called to be.
What every child needs from his/her mother.
1. Every Child needs a mother that is committed to them.
A mother who raises her children demonstrates commitment, imparts commitment to her children.Children want to be prioritized by their mothers.
2. Every child need a mother who loves unconditionally
A Mothers unconditional love for her child is the greatest example a child will have of the Unconditional Love of God in their lives.
3. Every child needs a mother that meets the emotional, spiritual, and physical needs of her children.
Mothers who holistically care for the needs of their children will produce healthy and responsible children.
Children need: Hugs, and kisses, the affection that comes from mom.
4 Every child need a mother who Loves God with all her heart, soul and strength.
Children want to see their moms in action loving God and sometimes it comes by observing them serve others.
5. Every Child need a mother who dedicates her children entirely to God.
Hannah dedicates Samuel to the Lord when her promised of having a son was given to her.
1 Samuel 1: 27- 27 I prayed for this child, and the LORD has granted me what I asked of him. 28 So now I give him to the LORD. For his whole life he will be given over to the LORD.” And he worshiped the LORD there.
John 2:1-5 1On the third day a wedding took place at Cana in Galilee. Jesus’ mother was there, 2and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited to the wedding. 3When the wine was gone, Jesus’ mother said to him, “They have no more wine.”4″Dear woman, why do you involve me?” Jesus replied, “My time has not yet come.” 5His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.”
Every Mother has the opportunity to train and guide children to accomplish Gods work. For Mary, it was empowering Jesus to rescue the bridegroom from shame that would come if the party was ruined by running out of wine at his wedding party.
Moms yield authority that comes from God to steer their children to be a light in the darkness. Jesus provided the best wine for the party.
To every mom who may read this, You are raising miracle makers in your home teach them to obey God, to serve others, and to participate in God redeeming work.
Proverbs 31:10-31
10 [c] A wife of noble character who can find?
She is worth far more than rubies.11 Her husband has full confidence in her
and lacks nothing of value.12 She brings him good, not harm,
all the days of her life.13 She selects wool and flax
and works with eager hands.14 She is like the merchant ships,
bringing her food from afar.15 She gets up while it is still dark;
she provides food for her family
and portions for her servant girls.16 She considers a field and buys it;
out of her earnings she plants a vineyard.17 She sets about her work vigorously;
her arms are strong for her tasks.18 She sees that her trading is profitable,
and her lamp does not go out at night.19 In her hand she holds the distaff
and grasps the spindle with her fingers.20 She opens her arms to the poor
and extends her hands to the needy.21 When it snows, she has no fear for her household;
for all of them are clothed in scarlet.22 She makes coverings for her bed;
she is clothed in fine linen and purple.23 Her husband is respected at the city gate,
where he takes his seat among the elders of the land.24 She makes linen garments and sells them,
and supplies the merchants with sashes.25 She is clothed with strength and dignity;
she can laugh at the days to come.26 She speaks with wisdom,
and faithful instruction is on her tongue.27 She watches over the affairs of her household
and does not eat the bread of idleness.28 Her children arise and call her blessed;
her husband also, and he praises her:29 “Many women do noble things,
but you surpass them all.”30 Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting;
but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.31 Give her the reward she has earned,
and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.
