Hows this for controversy among the parties. If you are a registered voter you have to see this.

The question must be asked, does Joe Biden still stand behind his remarks after being selected as the Democratic running mate by Barak Obama?

Side note: Watch Obama as he hears the words fall off Joe Biden lips..he shuts his eyes. I wonder what he is thinking?

Update: The Forum is scheduled for tonight and is to air on CNN at 6:pm MDT.

Read the CNN Report as written here

This next Saturday, August 16, 2008, I will interview Senators John McCain and Barack Obama for an hour each at our nationally televised Saddleback Civil Forum on the Presidency. The following morning I will be preaching a message entitled “The Kind of Leadership America Needs.”

I’d value your opinion and feedback. What question would you ask BOTH candidates if you had the chance? Please frame your question in a way that it could be asked of both candidates (to be fair) and email it to me at pastorrick@saddleback.net. This would be a great help to me.

We’re in this together. I also ask you to pray I’ll have the necessary wisdom. This will be an historic event. Never have the two candidates been interviewed by a pastor in a church. It will be a great day for all churches, showing the importance of the local church being at the civil table.

I thank God he has called you to serve Him. For the global glory of God.

What he (Rick Warren) will ask them.

Is this another 2008 Presidential Election flip flop… again?

I just read this news here about Obama wanting to expand (this administrations) President Bush faith based initiative program efforts.

Isn’t this the same guy that has echoed many times “We don’t want 8 more years of this “administrations failed policies”…? I guess this is the only policy of the last 8 years that just might not fail him a few extra votes.

I hope the American people will remember this track record of Hiliary when they go out to vote in November.

March 27, 2008 — WASHINGTON - Hillary Rodham Clinton’s fairy-tale landing in Tuzla, Bosnia, under heavy sniper fire is part of a widespread pattern of lying about her record, Barack Obama’s campaign charged yesterday.

“Clinton’s fantastic invention of a sniper-raked landing is only one in a growing list of instances in which she has exaggerated her role as first lady, particularly with respect to domestic policy,” a scorching campaign memo said in one of the harshest broadsides to date.

Throughout my life, I’ve found that there are sometimes three possible answers to our prayers–”Yes,” “No,” or “Not Now.” I would like to think our prayers were answered with a “Not Now.”

The Conservatives will have a voice in this Election. I been hearing the liberal media saying that the conservative voice has become irrelevant this time around in this election. In the next few days and in the coming caucus I am predicting that value voters and conservative vote will rise once again to turn this election around as in times past. To be honest, I was a bit discouraged on how things are turning out and was much feeling like Dr. James Dobson. Read his thoughts here.

This Man Running for President says, “My faith is my life - it defines me. My faith doesn’t influence my decisions, it drives them. I don’t separate my faith from my personal and professional lives.”

I pray many believers will live out their faith when they go out to the polls in this upcoming election.
